Everyone I know has put time, effort and even the little money they had into supporting Obama. Finally we all feel we've made a difference - and not only that but he won by a stunning majority!!! This gives me so much hope (where I used to be politically apathetic), that the collective consciousness knows they can make Things Happen and that a responsible, forward thinking and globally cooperative government here is possible.
